Amazon Prime Video Orders 'Reality Retreat' Featuring Controversial Reality Stars Including Hilaria Baldwin, Kenya Moore, Julie Chrisley

Amazon Prime Video has greenlighted a new reality series to its lineup, assembling a roster of notable and often controversial personalities from major unscripted television franchises.

The show, titled Reality Retreat, centers on what the network describes as "a high-stakes wellness retreat designed to challenge their identities, relationships, and personal growth." The cast pulls from Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Selling Sunset, Chrisley Knows Best, and other popular reality television programs.

The lineup includes Julie and Savannah Chrisley from the Chrisley Knows Best universe, alongside Hilaria Baldwin, wife of Alec Baldwin, who has appeared on The Baldwins and competed on Dancing with the Stars. Real Housewives veterans Kenya Moore, Margaret Josephs, and Kim Zolciak round out the ensemble, joined by Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn and Vanderpump Rules' Brittany Cartwright from The Valley.

The cast also features Tamar Braxton from Braxton Family Values and Bachelorette personalities Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran.

Several participants carry notable histories of public controversy. Julie and Todd Chrisley were incarcerated in 2023 for tax evasion and bank fraud before receiving a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. Kenya faced termination from Real Housewives of Atlanta following an incident involving the sharing of sexually explicit images of co-star Brit Eady at a public event, and maintains a longstanding conflict with fellow cast member Kim.

Set in a tropical destination, the series follows women whose public visibility has cast them as cultural icons, antagonists, and tabloid subjects. The official synopsis explains that participants will be "removed from their comfort zones" to engage in "an immersive experience centered on healing, accountability and transformation." The program incorporates "intense wellness rituals, unfiltered truth-telling exercises and emotionally charged confrontations" designed to push each woman to examine her identity beyond her public image.

The description continues: "At the retreat, growth is not guaranteed. Old habits resurface, alliances fracture and egos collide. With their place in the experience constantly at risk, each woman must decide whether to embrace evolution, or leave unchanged."

Rich Edwards has been cast as a "concierge," while Ashley Edelman will serve as "guru and wellness director."

The series is scheduled to premiere in 2027. The announcement comes shortly after Margaret Josephs revealed her exit from Real Housewives of New Jersey following seven seasons with the Bravo franchise.
