Citadel Season 2 Trailer Drops: Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stanley Tucci Are Back

The wait for Citadel's return is nearly over. Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for season two of the spy thriller, confirming that Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stanley Tucci are back in action.

The show wrapped production on the new season in 2024, though the release date shifted from its original fall 2025 window. Now fans will get to dive in when all seven episodes arrive on Wednesday, May 6th on Prime Video.

The story picks up with Mason Kane (Madden), Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas), and Bernard Orlick (Tucci) as elite operatives of a legendary agency that was decimated by Manticore, a powerful network controlled by the world's most influential families. When a dangerous new threat surfaces, the trio finds themselves called back into service. They'll need to assemble a fresh team of operatives and orchestrate a worldwide campaign to dismantle a plot with the potential to alter the course of human history. The season promises high-octane action sequences, shocking plot twists, and an expanded cast of shadowy operatives where trust becomes increasingly difficult to determine.

Joining the returning players Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings are fresh faces to the franchise. Jack Reynor takes on the role of Hutch, Matt Berry plays Franke Sharpe, and Lina El Arabi portrays Celine. The ensemble also includes Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone, and Rayna Vallandingham in the new installment.
