Rosalía Addresses Venezuela Earthquake Crisis During Las Vegas Performance

Rosalía used her platform at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Venezuela.

The 33-year-old Spanish artist took to the stage on Saturday, June 27, as part of her LUX World Tour and addressed the twin earthquakes that recently devastated the country's northern region. The natural disaster has resulted in at least 1,450 deaths and left more than 3,000 people injured, with tens of thousands still unaccounted for as rescue operations continue.

"I have been really worried about my people in Venezuela. Please let's send all our love and let's do everything we can to help…they need us," Rosalía told the crowd, emphasizing the urgency of the moment and calling it a "very critical moment."

The LUX World Tour will continue across multiple countries and cities throughout North and South America, including stops in the United States, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. The tour is scheduled to conclude on September 3 in San Juan at Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
