Sabrina Carpenter is championing the newly reimagined production of Cats: The Jellicle Ball currently playing on Broadway.

The 26-year-old performer took in a showing of the musical at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City on Thursday evening, May 7. She arrived with a close circle that included her sister and creative collaborator Sarah Carpenter, longtime friend Paloma Sandoval, and her manager Merce Jesser.

Following the performance, Carpenter shared her enthusiasm on Instagram Stories, posting a photo of the Playbill and declaring the experience a "Must see!!!!!" She was photographed leaving the venue with one of the show's signature yellow fans in hand, dressed in a yellow jacket, jeans, and a leopard print hat.

The revival features choreography inspired by the New York City Ballroom scene and has earned significant recognition from the theater community. Cats: The Jellicle Ball received nine Tony Award nominations this year, among them Best Revival of a Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Direction of a Musical. Actor Andre de Shields earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.

Carpenter's Broadway outing follows her appearance as the surprise musical performer at the 2026 Met Gala, where she brought a legendary singer to the stage to delight the gathered celebrities.

Cats: The Jellicle Ball continues its Broadway run through September 6.
