Sandra Bullock Marks Mother's Day With Cherished Family Photos

Sandra Bullock treated fans to an intimate look at her family this Mother's Day, sharing a collection of throwback photos that included her two children from their younger years.
The 61-year-old star posted the images to honor the holiday, also featuring pictures of her own mother and grandmother. In her caption, she extended warm wishes to all mothers, writing about the shared bond that connects them across different circumstances.
"Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me. We miss you 💜 Sorry I was such a brat," she added in the post, offering a touching tribute to the maternal figures in her life.
Bullock's son Louis joined her family through adoption in 2010 at age three. Her daughter Laila (pronounced Lila) came into her life in 2015 when the actress adopted her from Louisiana's foster care system at age three.
When she first confirmed Laila's adoption, Bullock spoke to People magazine about her hopes for her daughter's adjustment. "I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren't going anywhere," she shared at the time.
The actress has been open about the nature of her family structure, describing it as "blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding."
The Mother's Day post landed on Bullock's newly created Instagram account, which she launched in April amid promotion for her upcoming film Practical Magic 2. The movie is set to release later this year.
