Sandra Lee and Ben Youcef End Their Engagement After Five Years

April 21, 2026

Culinary personality Sandra Lee and actor Ben Youcef have ended their engagement, her representative confirmed this week.

The 59-year-old television chef and former First Lady of New York parted ways with the 47-year-old performer after five years of dating. The split was confirmed by Lee's rep, Jen Abel.

The news emerged when Lee was spotted without her engagement ring, prompting questions about her wedding timeline. She redirected the conversation toward her professional endeavors instead of addressing the relationship directly.

Lee and Youcef's connection began in 2021, the same year they became engaged. The couple made headlines for their public displays of affection throughout their early relationship, including a memorable moment in November 2021 when they were photographed together. The following year brought more romantic moments, with the pair captured embracing in a pool during a trip to Italy.

At the height of their romance, those close to the couple were enthusiastic about their bond. "They're inseparable," a source shared with People magazine in 2021, noting that their inner circle had even created a combined nickname for them: "Bendra." The insider further reflected on the nature of their connection, saying it resembled "almost like a first love for both of them."

Youcef has maintained a steady presence in television, with recent credits including appearances on The Rookie and The Equalizer. His résumé also features roles in SEAL Team and Hawaii Five-0.

Prior to her relationship with Youcef, Lee spent 14 years in a relationship with Andrew Cuomo, which concluded in 2019.
