Sara Foster and Tommy Haas Continue Living Together Nearly Two Years After Announcing Divorce

Sara Foster is opening up about the current state of her relationship with ex-husband Tommy Haas, nearly two years after the pair announced plans to end their marriage.

The Nobody Wants This producer and the former professional tennis player married in 2010 and have two daughters together: Valentina, 15, and Josephine, 10. Their breakup became public in August 2024, and several months later, Foster disclosed that the two remained under the same roof, occupying separate bedrooms.

As of now, that living arrangement continues. During an appearance on Kristin Cavallari's Let's Be Honest podcast, Foster addressed the unconventional setup, offering insight into Haas's lifestyle and mindset.

"He's a Florida resident, he's German, he is always on the road, he's in the tennis world. He was a professional tennis player for 25 years… and that is, I think, that is his comfort level, is being on the road," Foster explained.

Despite the separation, the family maintains regular togetherness. "We have breakfast when he's in town, we have breakfast and dinner with our kids every day," Foster shared. "And there's something to be said — it's not for everybody — but there's something to be said about slowly transitioning."

Foster reflected on the end of their 20-year relationship, pinpointing a moment when she recognized a shift in Haas's regard for her. "I think I remember, he looked at me once and I was like, 'Oh, he does not respect me anymore.' You know what I mean? And it's sort of like, once you can see someone looking at you with a certain eye, you're kind of like, 'Oh God,'" she recounted.

Despite the split, Foster spoke warmly of her ex-husband, highlighting his character and values. "This guy has got so much integrity, you will never meet anyone that has a bad thing to say about him. He has real integrity. He's not a social climber. He's not a user. He likes who he likes, doesn't care who you are. He's a great guy," she said.
