Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour Celebrate Reading Initiative With Queen Camilla in New York

Hollywood and fashion worlds converged with British royalty at the New York Public Library on Wednesday afternoon, as Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour attended a reading-focused event alongside Queen Camilla.
The gathering came during the Queen's solo outing in New York while King Charles participated in separate engagements across the city. The monarch's visit marked his first trip to the United States since ascending to the throne.
Queen Camilla's appearance at the library aligned with her ongoing involvement with The Queen's Reading Room, her charitable organization dedicated to promoting literacy and a love of books.
Parker, best known for her iconic role in Sex and the City, reflected on the significance of the event. "Every time you shine a spotlight on reading and the relationship between a reader and a book and how it changes lives and enriches lives and cultivates empathy and curiosity, I'm so grateful. And for Her Majesty, it means a great deal," she shared.
The actress and the Queen had crossed paths once before at a reception held at Clarence House in London back in November.
The New York event followed the royal couple's time in Washington, D.C., where they attended a state dinner at the White House the previous evening.
