Sarah Pidgeon Takes Center Stage in Balenciaga's Fall 2026 Campaign Helmed by Filmmaker Celine Song

Balenciaga has released its Fall 2026 campaign, "A New York Minute: Keep Rolling," with direction from Oscar nominee Celine Song.
The cinematic project brings together actress Sarah Pidgeon—known for her role in Love Story—alongside Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli in what marks a debut collaboration between the three parties.
Filmed entirely throughout Manhattan, the campaign comprises three 60-second films that trace Pidgeon's journey across a single day in the city, from morning through evening. Each installment spotlights one of three key pieces: the Le City, Le 7 Bowling, and Rodeo bags, all pulled from the house's Fall 2026 lineup.
The films capture recognizable New York scenarios—picking up dry cleaning, navigating busy street crossings, flagging down taxis—before revealing the constructed nature of these moments as carefully orchestrated film sets. Song employs a deliberate fourth-wall break throughout, layering in behind-the-scenes footage and glimpses of the production process itself after instructing crews to "keep rolling."
The project draws on Song's established creative partnerships, including cinematographer Shabier Kirchner, whose prior work encompasses Past Lives and Materialists.
Beyond the three films, Balenciaga established a dedicated Instagram hub, @keeppprolling, where behind-the-scenes content captured by Piccioli appears alongside work from photographers Monaris and Zora Sicher.
The Fall 2026 collection and the three featured handbag styles are available now at select retailers globally and through the brand's digital channels.
