Sarah Ramos Expecting First Child With Director Husband Matt Spicer

Sarah Ramos is expecting her first child with her husband, director Matt Spicer.

The 34-year-old actress from Parenthood announced the pregnancy on Tuesday, May 5, sharing the news via Instagram alongside photos from her baby shower. In her caption, she wrote: "Surprise! If you're not surprised I'm pregnant, act like it! I have no good photos with the father of my child lol just a ton with the shower guests of honor: @thelabellefoundation puppies available for adoption! ???"

The social media post featured images of Ramos displaying her baby bump and holding puppies that are up for adoption through the LaBelle Foundation. The celebration also included a cake decorated with the words "Baby Spice."

Ramos and Spicer tied the knot in 2020. Spicer has established himself as a director, helming the 2017 film Ingrid Goes West and directing episodes across various television series including Angelyne, Dollface, and On Becoming a God in Central Florida.

Ramos has built an impressive resume across television, appearing in FX's The Bear, HBO's Winning Time, and Showtime's The Affair. Last year, the couple sat down together for an interview featured in Spicer's Tracking Noise newsletter, with Spicer introducing his wife as an "actress, writer, director, sometimes podcaster, full-time pop culture aficionado, all around Renaissance woman."
