Savannah Guthrie Honors Mother on Mother's Day as Search Continues

Savannah Guthrie took to Instagram on Mother's Day to pay tribute to her mother Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for nearly 100 days following what authorities believe was an abduction from her Tucson, Arizona residence.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her home on February 1, prompting an ongoing search effort by her family and law enforcement. In an emotional video compilation posted Sunday, May 10, the Today show co-anchor addressed her mother directly: "mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you. We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference."

The post included a call to action, urging anyone with information to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, noting that callers can remain anonymous. Guthrie has since resumed her position at Today, returning to the newsdesk for a full month following the disappearance.

Multiple agencies are actively investigating the case. The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to Nancy's recovery, while the Guthrie family has posted an additional $1 million reward. The Pima County Sheriff's Office can be reached at 520-351-4900 with any tips or leads in the investigation.
