Sebastian Stan Brings Pregnant Annabelle Wallis to Cannes Premiere of 'Fjord'

The 43-year-old Oscar-nominated actor Sebastian Stan made his way down the red carpet at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Monday, May 18, for the premiere of his latest project, Fjord. The screening took place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Stan's longtime partner Annabelle Wallis joined him at the event, visibly showing her pregnancy as she walked alongside him. The couple have been in a relationship since 2022 and announced they were expecting their first child together earlier this year. Stan confirmed the news publicly just last week.

Joining Stan and Wallis on the red carpet were co-star Renate Reinsve and fellow cast members Lisa Carlehed, Lisa Loven Kongsli, and Vanessa Ceban. Director and writer Cristian Mungiu also attended the premiere.

The film tells the story of the Gheorghius, a devout Romanian Norwegian couple who relocate to a remote village in a fjord, where they form connections with their neighbors, the Halbergs. The children from both families develop friendships across their different cultural backgrounds. The narrative takes a darker turn when bruises appear on adolescent Elia Gheorghiu at school, prompting the community to question whether the strict parenting methods employed by the Gheorghius family may be responsible.

For the occasion, Stan donned a custom Gucci tuxedo, while Reinsve wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown. Wallis selected an Elie Saab dress for the premiere.
