Sebastian Stan and Annabelle Wallis Share Tender Moment at Cannes Premiere

Sebastian Stan and Annabelle Wallis put on a show of togetherness as they exited the Cannes Film Festival on Monday evening, though the couple had arrived at the event separately.

The 43-year-old actor and 41-year-old actress clasped hands while departing the Fjord premiere on May 18 in Cannes, France. Wallis, who is expecting, had spent the evening cradling her baby bump while striking poses on the red carpet in an elegant Elie Saab gown.

Stan stars in Fjord, the latest project from writer and director Cristian Mungiu. The film centers on the Gheorghius family, a deeply religious Romanian-Norwegian couple who relocate to a remote village nestled in a fjord. As their children develop friendships with the neighboring Halberg family despite their contrasting upbringings, tension emerges when bruises appear on adolescent Elia Gheorghiu at school, prompting community members to question the traditional disciplinary methods employed by the Gheorghiu parents.

The film also stars Renate Reinsve.
