Production Resumes on 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Following Taylor Frankie Paul Investigation Hiatus

The cameras are rolling again on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

After halting production two months ago during domestic violence investigations involving Taylor Frankie Paul, the Hulu series has resumed work on the show. Multiple cast members had refused to participate while the investigation was underway.

Currently, the production team is concentrating efforts on recording confessional segments for season 5. The decision has been made to wrap the remainder of season 5 production, though plans are already in place to move forward with season 6 filming.

Season 5 will consist of just five episodes—those that were completed before the March production pause. Taylor has publicly addressed reports surrounding her absence from the fifth season as work has picked back up.

Earlier this month, Taylor opened up about her complicated history with ex Dakota Mortensen amid an ongoing custody dispute. The pair faced a court order requiring them to maintain distance from one another at the end of April following the domestic violence investigation.

In related developments, Dakota Mortensen is also being removed from the cast of Vanderpump Villa. Meanwhile, fellow cast member Mikayla Matthews has stepped back from her association with Taylor as the situation continues to unfold.

Season 4 of the series debuted on Hulu in March.
