Shawn Mendes Steps Out Solo in New York City

Shawn Mendes made a solo appearance in New York City on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, as he handled some errands around town.

The 27-year-old "In My Blood" artist kept things casual for the outing, checking his phone while moving about the city. He displayed his physique in a gray sleeveless tank paired with loose-fitting navy trousers, completing the look with a brown baseball cap, black sneakers, and a white hoodie draped across his shoulder.

Just days earlier, the musician was seen enjoying lunch with his girlfriend, Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine, in Los Angeles. The 30-year-old and Mendes have been an item for several months, with dating speculation beginning in December 2025.

Marquezine has recently wrapped work on the film Velhos Bandidos, which premiered in March. She has additional projects on the horizon, including a return to her role as Bia Martins for the second season of Amor da Minha Vida (Benefits with Friends) on Disney+, as well as an upcoming appearance in the series Véspera.

In a 2024 interview, Mendes opened up about briefly contemplating a shift away from music following his decision to cancel the Wonder Tour in 2022 in order to prioritize his mental wellbeing.
