Sheryl Crow Discovered Lance Armstrong Was Dating a Major Actress During Her Cancer Treatment Week

Sheryl Crow is reflecting on one of the most challenging chapters of her life, opening up about learning that her former fiancé Lance Armstrong had begun dating shortly after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.

The Grammy-winning artist sat down on the Tuesday, May 19 episode of The BobbyCast on Netflix, where she discussed how the relationship ended during the same week as her cancer diagnosis. She revealed that not long after, she became aware that Lance was "seeing a really famous actress."

"I went through about nine months of radiation and grieving and anger," she shared during the interview.

Crow and Armstrong dated from 2003 before getting engaged in 2005, ultimately parting ways in September 2006. At the time, outlets reported the split stemmed from differing views on having children, with Sheryl wanting kids and Lance not interested in starting a family.

Following their breakup, Lance was romantically linked to various prominent women, including Eva Longoria, Ashley Olsen, and Kate Hudson. Crow chose not to publicly name the actress in question.

Armstrong went on to marry yoga instructor Anna Hansen in 2022. The couple has welcomed two children since tying the knot.

Crow is the mother of two sons she adopted: Wyatt, 19, and Levi, 16. The "All I Wanna Do" singer has also made headlines recently for other reasons, including when she spoke out last year about a frightening situation at her residence following her decision to sell her Tesla as a protest against Elon Musk.
