Sombr Delivers Soaking Wet Performance of 'Homewrecker' at 2026 AMAs

Sombr made a memorable splash at the 2026 American Music Awards, literally drenching himself during his performance of "Homewrecker" at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday evening.

The 20-year-old artist performed beneath a cascading waterfall for the track, which was released in early February 2026 and has climbed to number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. The high-energy staging turned the stage into a water feature as the singer delivered the song to the live audience.

The performance was just one highlight of a successful night for Sombr at the ceremony. The artist walked away with two awards during the live broadcast: Best Rock/Alternative Song for "Back to Friends" and Best Rock/Alternative Album for I Barely Know Her. He had entered the evening with seven total nominations, tying for the second-highest nomination count of the evening.

The 2026 American Music Awards aired live on CBS from Las Vegas, with Queen Latifah hosting the show. The ceremony featured performances and presentations from various artists and celebrities throughout the night, with Taylor Swift leading the overall nominations field.
