Stephanie Pratt has done a complete about-face regarding her brother Spencer's bid for Los Angeles mayor.

The reality television personality initially voiced strong opposition to Spencer's campaign, which he launched following the destruction of his Palisades home in last year's fires. Back in February, Stephanie made her reservations public, citing both her concerns about his qualifications and their troubled personal history.

"Spencer has done great work for the palisades. But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity," she stated at the time. She also referenced past conflict between them, adding, "Sorry he beat me up when I was 18 & put me in the hospital. So no he doesn't belong in the government. Run the palisades all you want not LA."

Just three months later, Stephanie's perspective has shifted considerably. In remarks shared with Vanity Fair, she acknowledged her previous stance, saying, "I admit I was the first person to tell people that they were idiots if they voted for my brother. Wow, was I wrong. He has spent every day since the fires, finding the facts, the mistakes, the negligence and uncovering the truth that they never wanted us to know."

Spencer's campaign has garnered backing from various entertainment industry figures. Notably, Donald Trump has also expressed his support for the former reality star, characterizing him as a "big MAGA person."

The candidate has already outlined contingency plans should he not prevail in the election.
