Stevie Nicks delivered a show-stopping moment at the 2026 Met Gala, marking her first-ever appearance at the fashion world's most prestigious night. The music legend, 77, graced the Metropolitan Museum of Art's red carpet on Monday, May 4, in New York City with a striking custom creation.

The Fleetwood Mac icon donned a John Galliano for Zara design that made an undeniable impression. Her ensemble featured a midnight blue silk taffeta base with a crinoline silhouette, paired with an embroidered overlay skirt adorned with tulle and chiffon roses in appliqué. The look was completed with a silk taffeta and velvet jacket and her iconic top hat—embellished with a feather and created in collaboration with milliner Stephen Jones.

Tiffany & Co. jewelry rounded out the sophisticated appearance.

This year's Met Gala centered on the institution's Costume Art exhibition, which examines "the centrality of the dressed body" through depictions and interpretations of the human form from the Met's collection. The evening's dress code theme was "Fashion is Art," and the co-chairs included Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The annual gala drew hundreds of A-list celebrities to celebrate the intersection of fashion and artistic expression.
