Big Bang Theory Spinoff 'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe' Heading to HBO Max This July

'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe' is ready for its HBO Max arrival, and fans now have their first look at what's in store.
The spinoff brings back several familiar faces from The Big Bang Theory in the lead roles. Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart Bloom, the comic book store owner at the center of the action, while Lauren Lapkus joins him as Denise, his girlfriend. Rounding out the main cast are Brian Posehn, who plays Bert, and John Ross Bowie, reprising his role as Barry Kripke.
The show follows Stuart as he finds himself responsible for fixing reality after inadvertently destroying a contraption created by Sheldon and Leonard—an accident that triggers a multiverse catastrophe. Stuart embarks on this universe-saving mission alongside Denise, his geologist pal Bert, and Barry Kripke, a quantum physicist known for being difficult. Throughout their journey, the group encounters various alternate-universe iterations of beloved characters from The Big Bang Theory. True to its title, the mission doesn't end well.
The new series is set to launch on HBO Max on July 23.
