Summer House's Dara Levitan Announces Breakup with KJ Dillard

Dara Levitan has made her relationship status official. The Summer House star revealed on Thursday's episode of her Five More Minutes podcast that she and her boyfriend KJ Dillard are no longer together.

"Do you want to know what's setting me off?" the 33-year-old shared with listeners. "Well, I'm single." She went on to explain that she wasn't prepared to delve deeper into the matter at that moment. "That's all we're going to say about it because I can't do tears this morning, and there's no way I'm talking about it without crying."

The couple began dating in summer 2025 while working on season 10 of the Bravo series. They were introduced by fellow cast member West Wilson.

The breakup news had already begun circulating before Levitan's official announcement. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month, co-star Jesse Solomon, 33, inadvertently disclosed the split when asked about the pair's social media activity. "They broke up, yeah," he said. "Last I heard, they were broken up. Sorry if that's not public."

On the June 2 episode of More Life With Carl Radke, the 28-year-old Dillard opened up about the circumstances surrounding their separation. He revealed that he and Levitan took a pause in their relationship after filming wrapped on season 10 last summer as he navigated personal health challenges.

Dillard was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder late last year following a hospitalization related to self-harm. He described Levitan as having made the difficult decision to step back from the relationship during his recovery period.

"Dara, I think, was gonna hang on … but that wouldn't have been good for either of us," Dillard explained. "I needed the time, because after the hospital, I went to recovery … and that's when we broke up. Looking back, if me and Dara were dating when I was in recovery, it would have been a mess. I would have been focused on saving the relationship rather than focusing on my health. Recovery changed my life."
