Jesse Solomon Opens Up About West Wilson and Amanda Batula's Relationship on WWHL

April 20, 2026

Jesse Solomon is breaking his silence on the budding romance between his Summer House castmates West Wilson and Amanda Batula.

The Bravo personality, who counts West among his close friends from the show, sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday (April 21) to discuss what he knew about their relationship, whether he suspected anything during last summer's filming, and more.

Solomon said his doubts began forming in late February through March. "I had my suspicions, but I did not know until they made their joint statement," he told Cohen. "They both denied it to my face multiple times."

The situation prompted Amanda to reach out directly to Solomon. "Amanda texted me apologizing, saying, 'I'm sorry that I lied to you,'" he revealed. However, West has not offered the same explanation. Solomon noted that the trust between them feels "a little" broken as a result.

When asked about conversations with fellow castmate Ciara Miller—who previously dated West and shared romantic moments with him on air—Solomon confirmed they'd both harbored suspicions before the announcement. "She was just like, 'Wait for the reunion,'" he recalled her telling him.

The situation has also affected Amanda's estranged husband Kyle Cooke. According to Solomon, Cooke is beginning to move into an anger phase following the public reveal. "Kyle's good, all things considered, but he's starting to get angry and upset. Especially seeing them make out on the Yankee's broadcast," Solomon shared.

Solomon was careful to address whether the relationship might have overlapped with Amanda's marriage. He expressed hope that it didn't happen during last summer's filming, which is currently airing on the network. "I really hope not. It's easy to look back now, and hindsight's 20/20, but I don't think they were," he said.

With Summer House wrapping up in the coming weeks, the cast has yet to film the reunion special. Several cast members, including Amanda, will be moving forward with the spinoff series In the City.
