Sydney Sweeney delivered a standout moment in Euphoria's penultimate episode of its third season, which may be the show's final run. The episode, which premiered on Sunday, May 24, centered on a provocative bedroom encounter between Sweeney's character Cassie and Dylan Reed, a television personality portrayed by Homer Gere.

In the scene, Cassie lures Dylan into bed under false pretenses—she's actually hoping to use the famous actor to expand her OnlyFans following. The sequence shows Sweeney's character taking a dominant role, undressing as she climbs atop Gere's character. At one point, Dylan pleads with Cassie not to continue as she reaches climax again.

The encounter takes another turn when Dylan steps out for water. Cassie seizes the opportunity to grab his phone, unlock it, and post a photograph of the two together in bed, captioning it with a provocative message. By morning, Maddy—who functions as Cassie's OnlyFans manager this season—arrives with news that the image has gone viral while Dylan remains asleep beside her.

Homer Gere brings fresh energy to the HBO series in what marks his first substantial acting role. The 26-year-old, whose parents are acclaimed actor Richard Gere and actress Carey Lowell, has previously appeared only in short films. Following his Euphoria arc, Gere is set to appear in an FX adaptation of The Shards, arriving later this summer.

When discussing his approach to the role, Gere credited his father's guidance. "He gives great advice," Gere shared with ET. "It's not necessarily related to the craft, but more about how you carry yourself and how you make this work in a positive way."

The episode also delivered a significant character death in its final moments, marking a major turning point as the season heads toward its conclusion.
