Taika Waititi Enjoys Evening Out at Chateau Marmont with Collaborator Rachel Forman

Taika Waititi stepped out for a night at one of Hollywood's most storied venues over the weekend, accompanied by a key member of his creative circle.

The 50-year-old filmmaker was spotted at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 20, in the company of Rachel Forman, with whom he has collaborated on multiple projects. The pair posed playfully for photographers as they exited the iconic establishment.

Forman's work with Waititi spans both television and film. She served as his assistant on the HBO series Our Flag Means Death and is credited as a co-producer on his forthcoming feature Klara and the Sun. She also appears in the film itself.

Klara and the Sun centers on an artificial companion designed to combat isolation, who becomes determined to rescue a struggling human family from heartbreak. The movie arrives in theaters on October 23.

While awaiting their vehicle outside the venue, Waititi and Forman relaxed on the property's front seating area. Upon noticing photographers in the distance, they waved in acknowledgment of the cameras.

Waititi is married to musician Rita Ora, with whom he was last seen publicly earlier this year.
