Tate Paul Seeks Restraining Order and Full Custody of Children with Taylor Frankie Paul

Taylor Frankie Paul is navigating a new custody matter involving her older children.

The 32-year-old star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is the subject of a filing from her ex-husband Tate Paul, who is seeking sole custody of their two children—8-year-old daughter Indy and 6-year-old son Ocean—along with a restraining order against her.

Tate submitted his request on Tuesday, June 30, filing five exhibits and a declaration to support both his request for the restraining order and custody arrangements. The specific details behind his filing remain confidential, as the documents have been sealed.

The move comes approximately two months following a court order that required Taylor and her other ex-partner, Dakota Mortensen, to maintain a distance of 100 feet from one another. Mortensen holds sole custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever, though Taylor retains visitation rights.

The filing arrives just one day after Taylor posted an Instagram story—which she subsequently removed—referencing another police call to her residence. "Cops called on my again THIS WEEK… what are the odds? And it's not people… it's ONE person the same person. It's obsessive," she wrote in the since-deleted post.

According to Bluffdale Police, Dakota reached out to them with questions regarding his protective order with Taylor and matters related to drop-off and custody arrangements for Ever. Police then contacted Taylor to confirm that all parties were aligned on the protective order details and designated drop-off times.
