Taylor Swift Enjoys Dinner in New York City With Family and Friends

Taylor Swift spent her Monday evening at the Jane Hotel in New York City, where she gathered for dinner with some of her closest circles.

The 36-year-old artist was accompanied by her father Scott Swift, her longtime best friend Ashley Avignone, frequent musical collaborator Jack Antonoff, and comedian Jerrod Carmichael for the April 27 outing.

For the occasion, Swift wore a striped blue and white dress from Staud, a piece featuring a corset-style panel construction designed to create a fitted silhouette at the waist with a full skirt that falls just below the knee. The dress, crafted from lightweight cotton poplin, retails for $325.00.

The dinner date coincided with an American Idol episode that spotlighted Swift's music throughout the evening. The Top 7 contestants each performed selections from her catalog, while comedian Nikki Glaser—a self-proclaimed Swift superfan—appeared as a guest judge. Dancers from the Eras Tour also made a special appearance on the episode to perform a choreographed routine with the contestants.
