Taylor Swift Launches Mysterious 48-Hour Countdown, Hints at Toy Story 5 Connection

Taylor Swift is gearing up for a major reveal. On Thursday, April 30, the 36-year-old artist posted a countdown timer to her official website that will run out in 48 hours.
The teaser has already caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans who noticed striking similarities between the countdown's aesthetic and the Toy Story franchise. The background features a distinctive sky and cloud design reminiscent of Andy's iconic bedroom from the films, while the typography mirrors the Toy Story logo's signature blue and yellow color scheme.
Though unconfirmed, speculation is mounting that Swift is announcing an original track for Toy Story 5, the Disney and Pixar sequel arriving June 19, 2026. Fans have taken to social media expressing their enthusiasm, with many convinced the visual clues point directly to the animated film's soundtrack.
Swift has a track record of crafting original songs for movies. Her previous film contributions include "Today Was a Fairytale" from Valentine's Day in 2010, "Safe & Sound" for The Hunger Games in 2012, and "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," a collaboration with Zayn Malik, for Fifty Shades Darker in 2017.
The countdown reaches its conclusion at 1pm ET on Saturday, May 2, when the official announcement is expected to arrive.
