Teyana Taylor Walks Red Carpet at 2026 AMAs with Daughters Junie and Rue

Teyana Taylor made a glamorous appearance at the 2026 American Music Awards, bringing along two pint-sized companions for the occasion.

The 35-year-old Oscar-nominated performer arrived at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday evening with her daughters Junie, 10, and Rue Rose, 5, serving as her red carpet dates. The girls' father is former NBA player Iman Shumpert, Teyana's ex-husband.

For the evening, Taylor commanded attention in a flowing purple gown that showed off plenty of leg, which she styled with snakeskin-print heels.

This marks Teyana's first time receiving a nomination at the awards show. She's competing in the Best Female R&B Artist category against Kehlani, Summer Walker, SZA, and Tyla.

The 2026 American Music Awards took place at the Las Vegas venue on May 25, with Queen Latifah helming hosting duties. The legendary entertainer's return to the role marked her first time hosting the ceremony in over 30 years. Taylor Swift led the night's nominees with eight nominations across various categories.
