Teyana Taylor and Tate McRae Celebrate Valentino's 'Specula Mundi' at Star-Studded Los Angeles Gathering

An evening of creative celebration brought together some of Hollywood's brightest talents at a Valentino event in Los Angeles. Teyana Taylor, Tate McRae, Patricia Arquette, and Maude Apatow were among the attendees gathered to mark the launch of a striking new book collaboration with photographer Mark Borthwick.
The April 29 celebration centered around "Specula Mundi," a visual journey through the Maison's latest Haute Couture collection. Held at the Marciano Art Foundation, the evening featured a Kaiserpanorama installation alongside a recreation of Alessandro Michele's "Specula Mundi" couture presentation from Paris.
The guest list read like a who's who of entertainment and fashion circles, including Archie Madekwe, Charlotte Lawrence, Devon Lee Carlson, Dree Hemingway, Hannah Einbinder, Jordan Firstman, Maika Monroe, Mindy Kaling, Owen Thiele, Paul W. Downs, and Sombr.
Valentino's official Instagram captured the spirit of the evening, describing it as "an evening of friends, discoveries, and encounters around Specula Mundi in California."
Maude Apatow made an impression in a short floral Valentino dress, reflecting on the experience and her appreciation for the designer's vision. "I love a girly, delicate, glamorous look," she shared. "I'm a huge fan of everything that Alessandro does. He's such an incredible artist."
The "Specula Mundi" book itself—with the Latin title translating to "mirror of the world"—is a limited edition release of 1,500 copies. Spanning 260 pages with 422 images, the volume becomes available May 11 at select Valentino boutiques worldwide for $350.
