'The Last Sunrise' Unveils First Look Photos; Romance Drama to Premiere on Prime Video in August

Fans are getting their first glimpse of The Last Sunrise, an upcoming romantic drama starring Maia Reficco and Fernando Lindez.

The film is adapted from a novel by Anna Todd, the author behind the wildly successful After franchise.

The story centers on Ry, a college student living with a chronic illness who travels to Mallorca for the summer alongside her mother, played by Eva Longoria. While there, she develops an unexpected romance with Julián (Lindez). As the season progresses and Ry's health deteriorates, long-buried family secrets begin to surface, threatening to derail what had become a transformative summer.

Director Carlson Young helms the project, which will arrive on Prime Video on August 26. The film is produced by Jennifer Gibgot, known for shepherding the blockbuster After movies to the screen, alongside Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment and Brian Pitt of Pitt Street Productions.
