The Lost Boys Musical Draws A-List Crowd to Broadway Premiere

The Lost Boys made its Broadway debut on Sunday evening at the Palace Theatre in New York City, drawing a glittering crowd of entertainment industry names to celebrate the theatrical adaptation.
Among the attendees were Billy Wirth and Alex Winter, both original cast members from the 1987 film that inspired the new musical. The pair reunited on the red carpet for the occasion, marking a full-circle moment for the vampire comedy franchise.
The evening brought together the show's cast members, including Shoshana Bean, LJ Benet, Ali Louis Bourzgui, and Benjamin Pajak, alongside a roster of celebrity guests. Director Michael Arden, who has won a Tony Award, was on hand to oversee the opening night proceedings.
The guest list included Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka with their twins Harper and Gideon, Pink with daughter Willow, Vera Farmiga, Tituss Burgess, Rob Mac and Kaitlin Olson, Darren Criss, Adrienne Warren, Stephen and Ayesha Curry, JoJo, Bobby Cannavale, Hugh Dancy, Zooey Deschanel, Jonathan Scott, Mike Flanagan, and many others from film, television, and theater.
The musical follows Lucy and her teenage sons Michael and Sam as they relocate to the seemingly idyllic seaside town of Santa Carla seeking a fresh start. Their arrival quickly reveals the town's sinister underbelly. As Michael gravitates toward a charismatic local rock band, his younger brother Sam discovers the horrifying truth: when darkness falls, Michael's new companions transform into something far more threatening than initially apparent.
The production features music and choreography that brings the cult classic story to the Broadway stage, with producers including Patrick Wilson, Marcus Chait, and James Carpinello.
