Ticketmaster Clarifies Misinformation About Ariana Grande Album Pre-Orders and Tour Ticket Access

Ticketmaster moved quickly to shut down circulating rumors about how fans can secure seats to Ariana Grande's highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine Tour.

On Tuesday, May 12, a fan account posted on X claiming that supporters who pre-order Grande's album 'Petal' would gain priority access to newly available tour tickets, even including what appeared to be a Ticketmaster screenshot to back up the assertion.

The official Ticketmaster account responded within two hours to set the record straight. "This is false. The only priority is for fans who do NOT already have tickets to the tour. If tickets remain after that, all remaining requests will be randomized. Love the energy hyping 'petal' regardless," the platform stated.

The ticket vendor launched a lottery-style request system for Grande's sold-out tour, marking her first headlining tour in seven years.

The request window opened May 12 at 12 pm ET and runs through Thursday, May 14 at 12 pm ET. Fans can submit requests through Ariana's dedicated page on Ticketmaster. Those without existing tickets receive priority consideration, with confirmation emails scheduled to arrive by Thursday, May 20 at 11:59 pm local venue time.
