Tina Fey Sets Record Straight on Viral Timothee Chalamet Photo From Knicks Game

Tina Fey is weighing in on the viral moment that captured her sitting courtside with Timothee Chalamet at a New York Knicks game last month.
The 56-year-old comedy icon addressed the widely-circulated photo during an appearance on the New Heights podcast, clarifying the circumstances surrounding the image that sparked widespread online discussion about the actor's leg positioning.
Fey was seated next to Chalamet at the game, where he attended with girlfriend Kylie Jenner. A snapshot from the evening showed his legs extending into the adjacent space—a moment that generated significant social media buzz overnight.
"Timothee Chalamet was nothing but lovely. Super friendly. Kylie was friendly and delightful. We had a great time. He was joking around with Tracy Morgan," Fey shared on the podcast.
The SNL alum went on to explain that she didn't notice the photo or the ensuing conversation until the following day. She approached the situation with characteristic humor, noting the physical reality of the seating arrangement.
"For every amount that he's sitting like this and manspreading, I'm doing the opposite. I've got a big ole can. As Amy Poehler would say, 'God is fair.' Timothee's legs are in the front, my big ole can is taking the back," Fey said. "We had no beef. We had no beef. It was all good and the Knicks won so everybody was happy."
The 30 Rock star emphasized that there were no hard feelings between them, and the evening ultimately proved enjoyable for everyone involved, particularly with the home team's victory.
