Tyler Perry's Ruthless Returns for Season 6 on Paramount+

Paramount+ has dropped the trailer for the highly anticipated sixth season of Tyler Perry's Ruthless, marking the drama's return more than a year after the conclusion of season five.

The new installment launches Tuesday, June 30, with two episodes premiering simultaneously. Following the premiere, episodes will roll out on a weekly schedule, with the mid-season finale set for Tuesday, August 25.

The season follows escalating conflict within the Rakudushis compound as power shifts and alliances crumble. Ruth's expanding sway over The Highest threatens to fundamentally alter the cult's trajectory, while external pressures—including intensified FBI involvement—push the organization toward an inevitable crisis. As trust fractures and new factions emerge, the compound slides deeper into turmoil, setting up a climactic confrontation.

The ensemble cast returns intact, with Melissa L. Williams, Matt Cedeno, Baadja-Lyne Odums, Blue Kimble, Colin McCalla, Michelle Núñez, Nadége August, and Joshua Adeyeye all reprising their roles.

Tyler Perry continues as executive producer on the series, which is produced through Tyler Perry Studios.
