Victoria Beckham Addresses 'Brand Beckham' Concept Following Brooklyn's Public Allegations

Victoria Beckham has weighed in on the "Brand Beckham" narrative that has become a point of contention within her family.
The fashion designer and entrepreneur, 52, discussed the topic during an appearance on Emma Grede's "Aspire" podcast, addressing how the couple's combined commercial presence came to be.
"Do you know when myself and David first met, it was never the intention to start a brand?" she explained. "People talk about 'Brand Beckham,' and that has happened so organically."
Beckham traced the origins back to the couple's individual careers before they met. "When I first met David, I mean, he was a Brylcreem boy. He was playing for Manchester United. David was Adidas and Brylcreem and Pepsi, [and] I was in the Spice Girls, and that's where I learned so much about how to build a brand, you know, and marketing," she said.
The comments come in response to allegations her son Brooklyn made public in January. Now estranged from the family, Brooklyn released a candid statement detailing his grievances with his parents.
In his statement, Brooklyn claimed that the family's commercial interests took precedence over genuine family bonds. "Brand Beckham comes first. Family 'love' is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations. We've gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party and every press activity to show 'our perfect family!'" he wrote.
His allegations extended to other personal matters, including claims about his mother's behavior at his wedding.
