The "First Time in San Juan" Song Taking Over TikTok: Full Lyrics Inside

The Puerto Rico-themed track is everywhere right now, and for good reason—it's impossibly catchy.

TikTok creator @saxboybilly18 has amassed a massive following by producing comedy videos that pair different songs with cities around the world. Using the AI music generator Suno, he crafts original lyrics tailored to each location. His Puerto Rico number has become his biggest hit to date, racking up millions of views and spawning countless user-generated videos across the platform.

The tune has proven so popular that even the Savannah Bananas baseball team incorporated it into their dance routines. Here's what the lyrics say:

"First time in San Juan, mi hijo Capital of Puerto Rico Immediately was enchanted The whole plane clapped when we landed Didn't want to do just tourist stuff So I took the bus to Caguas It's a wild place to vacation Slot machines in the bus station On my first time in Puerto Rico Malta and Mofongo papacito One flag is light, the other dark blue And a Barack Obama statue All of this in Puerto Rico."

The creator's catalog spans dozens of cities, each with its own original composition, and the engagement numbers across his account are staggering.

Several celebrities have jumped on the trend. Brian Jordan Alvarez, known for his role in "English Teacher," has created multiple videos featuring the song. Jennifer Love Hewitt shared her own rendition, expressing that she's "obsessed" with it. Sarah Hyland and her husband Wells Adams recorded a version while vacationing in Hawaii, and actress Kathryn Gallagher posted her take, declaring the song "matters so much to me right now."
