Ella Bright Hints at Season 2 Focus for 'Off Campus'—and It May Not Be Who Fans Expected

Ella Bright, who plays Hannah Wells on the Prime Video series Off Campus, appears to have dropped a major hint about which couple will take center stage in the show's sophomore season.

During a recent conversation with Variety, Bright and series creator Louisa Levy discussed the newly released episodes. When asked directly whether season two would focus on Dean and Allie, Bright responded with a knowing smile and nod—a gesture that fans are interpreting as confirmation.

The casting includes Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes and Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis.

Prime Video has already greenlit the series for a second season. The show is adapted from Elle Kennedy's book series, and book readers had expected the story to follow the same sequence as the source material. In Kennedy's novels, Logan and Grace's romance story, featured in "The Mistake," follows Hannah and Garrett's arc. This led many to believe season two would spotlight that couple.

However, the series appears poised to deviate from the book order.

When asked about the scope of the show's planning, Levy shared that the team has taken a comprehensive approach to storytelling. "All eight scripts are written and we have a very exciting plan for the season," Levy said. "I don't want to say anything yet — but I think book fans will be very excited."

The revelation comes as Off Campus prepares for a cast shakeup heading into season two, with some adjustments to the ensemble already in the works.
