Whitney Leavitt has decided not to continue with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

The 32-year-old founding cast member of the Hulu reality series made the announcement during her closing night performance in Chicago on Broadway on Sunday, May 3.

Leavitt was among the MomTok personalities featured in the series, and had previously exited before making a return in season three, specifically to pursue an opportunity on Dancing With the Stars. During her DWTS run alongside partner Mark Ballas, she advanced to the semifinals before landing the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago. For the final month of her extended Broadway engagement, Ballas joined her on stage, playing Billy Flynn opposite her.

The performer has been vocal about her acting ambitions and is set to appear in an upcoming holiday romantic comedy—a project she learned about while filming season four of the reality series.

Production on season five of Mormon Wives came to a halt in March following legal complications and allegations involving cast members Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. Leavitt had hinted at stepping away from the show around that time. Though filming is anticipated to resume in the near future, no official restart date has been announced.

With her Broadway chapter concluding, Leavitt is remaining in New York City while her husband, Conner Leavitt, has joined the cast of an off-Broadway production.
