Brunson and Ali's relationship spans years, beginning when they were students at Adlai Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The pair became official on October 27, 2013, a date Brunson commemorated in a nostalgic Instagram post.

Different College Paths

While their high school years overlapped, their college experiences took them in separate directions. Brunson attended Villanova, where he played basketball, while Ali pursued her studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She continued her education at Northwestern University, earning her doctorate in physical therapy in 2021.

On July 29, 2023, the couple exchanged vows at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago. The celebration came after Brunson's proposal in their high school gymnasium—a meaningful location for the longtime couple.
