Wes McGee Cast as Emily's Ex-Husband Frank in 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'

In The Devil Wears Prada 2, Emily Blunt's character has moved on from her marriage. Now divorced and in a new relationship, Emily is established as a Dior executive and a crucial advertising partner for Runway Magazine as the publication navigates turbulent waters.

The storyline takes the characters to Milan during fashion week, where Emily's two children remain behind with their father. A brief FaceTime call provides the film's only glimpse of Frank, Emily's ex-husband, appearing momentarily on the phone screen.

Wes McGee fills the role of Frank in the sequel. While the part is minimal, the casting represents McGee's most prominent film opportunity to date. Television viewers may recognize him from guest appearances on series including FBI, Walker, 9-1-1: Lone Star, and The Resident.

McGee's upcoming projects include the independent film Last Hand, featuring Beverly D'Angelo. Beyond acting, McGee performs as a member of the southern retro soul group Bonneville and teaches acting technique at the Warner Loughlin Studio in Atlanta.
