Hannah Harper Crowned Winner of American Idol Season 24

The 24th season of American Idol concluded with its three-hour live finale on Monday, May 11, crowning a new champion after the show's run on ABC from January through May.
Judges Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan presided over the finale, which featured performances from the judges themselves as well as numerous guest artists who collaborated with members of the Top 10 in duet performances throughout the evening.
The competition came down to three finalists: Hannah Harper, Jordan McCullough, and Keyla Richardson. Each contestant delivered two musical performances before the first elimination, with Richardson finishing in third place. This set the stage for Harper and McCullough to compete in a final round of performances as America cast their votes.
Hannah Harper emerged victorious, becoming the season's champion. The 25-year-old country performer and mother of three hails from Missouri. Upon her win, Harper performed an emotional rendition of her coronation song, visibly moved by the moment and struggling to speak as she took in her victory.
McCullough secured the runner-up position in second place.
The season marked another successful cycle for the long-running talent competition, which continues to draw viewers eager to discover the next generation of musical talent.
