Perfect Match Season 4 has wrapped, with host Nick Lachey guiding singles from reality franchises including Love Is Blind, The Mole, and Too Hot to Handle through compatibility challenges in pursuit of their perfect match.

Six couples made it to the finale round:

  • Ally Lewber and Jimmy Presnell
  • Marissa Georga and DeMari Davis
  • Alison Ogden and Jimmy Sotos
  • Natalie Cruz and Yaman Sanders
  • Kayla Richart and Chris Dahlan (Kayla removed herself from contention to rematch with Chris, who had previously been eliminated)
  • Dave Hand and Sophie Willett

When viewers voted on the grand prize winner, Dave Hand from Married at First Sight and Sophie Willett from Love is Blind UK emerged victorious.

The winning pair selected the Maldives as their prize destination—but their romantic getaway told a different story. In an interview with New Idea, Dave disclosed: "I think we're the only two people who friend-zoned each other in Maldives history."

The two spent their final day together in Mexico before heading to their destination, enjoying dinner and a beach walk with pina coladas. However, the real-world logistics soon caught up with them. Sophie's home in Manchester meant a significant time difference, and Dave explained how the connection faded once they returned to their regular lives.

"There were about six or eight weeks until we had our trip to the Maldives and I think when we went back home, the communication was up, the buzz is high," Dave recalled. "But communication dropped off on both of our ends with the time difference and the ocean between us. It was our lives sort of came back to normal, and you realize this is gonna be difficult."

After their 24-hour Maldives stay, the two parted ways romantically. Despite the outcome, Dave emphasized their bond remained intact: "I think if it was going to work, it would have worked, but it sort of went the way it did, and I'm super glad that we're close."
