Venezuela Fury Married at 16: Inside the Teen Couple's Decision and Her Parents' Support

Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury's 16-year-old daughter Venezuela recently made headlines after tying the knot with 18-year-old amateur boxer Noah Price. The revelation sparked widespread conversation about the couple's unconventional timeline, prompting Venezuela's mother Paris to share her perspective on the matter.

Paris Fury, 36, appeared on the "Great Company" podcast in April 2026 to discuss why her daughter and her new husband decided to marry while still in their teenage years. She acknowledged that Venezuela's age may seem shocking even by Gypsy standards, but emphasized her daughter's maturity and self-assurance throughout the process.

"Venezuela has always been a woman, she's always been the oldest of all these kids, she's always been very confident in herself, and she has met the person she wants to be with," Paris explained. She also addressed the criticism the couple has faced, noting the inconsistency in public perception when it comes to young couples living together versus getting married.

"If she moved in and lived with this person, no-one would bat an eyelid, it wouldn't be a problem, but the fact that she wants to get married which to me is a celebration of their relationship, it's beautiful," Paris said. She further stressed that both Venezuela and Noah are happy and committed to each other through marriage, questioning what alternative she could reasonably offer as a parent.

Paris and Tyson have been married for 20 years themselves, and she pointed to their own long-lasting union as a testament to their family's approach to commitment. "What am I going to do, turn around to her and say no? She's going to do it anyway," Paris added, emphasizing her acceptance of her daughter's choice.

When addressing the broader backlash, Paris remained firm in her stance. "I don't understand [the backlash]. To me, my child has met the person she wants to be with. If she moved in and lived with this person, no one would bat an eyelid. It wouldn't be any problem," she reiterated. She continued by framing the marriage as a positive expression of their relationship rather than something controversial.

The couple's wedding was legally permissible due to their location. While England and Wales maintain a legal marriage age of 18 with no exceptions or parental consent provisions, the Isle of Man—an island situated in the northern Irish Sea—allows individuals to marry at 16 with parental approval. This legal distinction made Venezuela and Noah's marriage valid under Isle of Man law.
