Zayn Malik is pulling back from his touring plans, announcing the cancellation of all U.S. dates on his KONNAKOL Tour.

The 33-year-old artist shared the news through his Instagram Story on Friday morning, May 1. His statement thanked fans for their support during his album release and expressed gratitude for the prayers and well-wishes he's received regarding his health.

"I've been at home recovering and I'm doing well and will be better and stronger than before," Malik wrote. He explained that after reassessing his schedule for the coming months, he determined he needed to reduce the number of performances on the tour. "I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can," he added, expressing enthusiasm about the remaining shows while hoping to connect with fans worldwide.

The former One Direction member's tour dates in Dublin and Birmingham in the U.K. have also been canceled. The KONNAKOL Tour was originally set to kick off May 12 in Manchester, with that opening date now rescheduled to May 23. Updated tour information and remaining dates are available at inZayn.com.

Malik's hospitalization for an unspecified medical condition was revealed last month. The decision to scale back his tour schedule comes after he recently canceled an appearance on a late-night show, with reports indicating he's receiving treatment from a cardiologist.
