Zendaya and Tom Holland have finally tackled one of the internet's most amusing running jokes.

During a recent sit-down with LINDA, the pair fielded a question about the viral "Zendaya hat theory"—an online phenomenon that playfully speculates about what's actually concealed beneath the star's signature large hats at red-carpet events. When an interviewer asked whether the couple would be sporting any headwear during their upcoming press appearances, Zendaya couldn't help but react to the persistent theory.

"Hats? Oh my God. This won't go away," she said with a laugh.

Tom jumped in to clarify the meme's name, asking his co-star: "What is it again? What's it called? Zendaya hat theory."

Zendaya characterized the theory as "peak brain rot," quipping that "the kids are not okay." However, she acknowledged the humor in the situation, calling it "so funny" and "so weird." Tom agreed that the theory had its comedic merit, admitting it was "quite funny."

Playing along with the joke, Zendaya suggested they might bring back some hats for the tour before adding with a smile: "But obviously I've let you out of my hat, 'cause you're here."

Tom responded in kind, saying: "I know. I like being out here. Don't put me back in the hat."
