Zendaya's Schiaparelli Premiere Gown Traveled from Paris Runway to London by Private Jet

Zendaya's striking ensemble for the world premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey involved some serious behind-the-scenes logistics.
The 29-year-old actress stepped onto the red carpet in London on Monday, July 6, wearing an avant-garde Schiaparelli gown that had literally just walked the runway in Paris that same day. Her longtime stylist Law Roach orchestrated the rapid-fire costume change, coordinating the dress's transport via private jet from the French capital to the British one.
Roach shared details of the operation while speaking with French creator Elias Medini—known online as Lyas—during Paris Haute Couture Week. In a video posted to Instagram, Roach can be seen pointing out the dress on a model at the Schiaparelli show before joking about his tight timeline. "Yes, I flew in last night to come to the show; I have a private jet waiting for me," he said.
The gown itself made a sculptural statement with its porcelain-effect molded bustier, mirrored fringe, and dramatic white-to-mirror detailing. Zendaya accessorized with Chopard jewelry, including a 12.37-carat diamond necklace and diamond studs that brought the total diamond weight to over 88 carats.
In the film, Zendaya takes on the role of Athena, while her husband Tom Holland portrays Telemachus. The Odyssey arrives in theaters July 17.
