Zoey Deutch Celebrates 'Gail Daughtry' Premiere Surrounded by Family

Zoey Deutch stepped out for a special evening with her closest family members at the premiere of her latest film project.

The 31-year-old actress arrived at AMC The Grove in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 23, accompanied by her fiancé Jimmy Tatro and her parents—actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch. The event marked the theatrical premiere for 'Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass,' a comedy where Deutch plays the lead role.

The film is set to hit theaters on July 10.

Directed by David Wain, the movie follows a small-town hairdresser named Gail Daughtry who becomes entangled in an unexpected adventure. After her high school sweetheart Tom uses his "celebrity pass" to sleep with someone famous, Gail impulsively travels to Los Angeles with her friend Otto. Convinced by a psychic that she needs to balance the scales, Gail sets out to find her own celebrity pass: Jon Hamm. Her quest takes her through Hollywood's landscape alongside Otto, a talent agency assistant, a paparazzo, and actor John Slattery, while navigating encounters with various celebrities and even a group of Italian assassins.

The film previously screened at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

On the premiere carpet, Deutch was joined by her castmates Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Mather Zickel, and Kerri Kenney-Silver, along with director Wain. Due to scheduling conflicts, Jon Hamm and John Slattery were represented by cardboard cutouts rather than making personal appearances.

Beyond this summer release, Deutch has several projects in rotation. She currently appears in the Netflix rom-com 'Voicemails for Isabelle,' which holds the number-one position on the platform. She also lends her voice to the animated film 'Minions & Monsters,' arriving in theaters on July 1.
